Jim Paruk on Guitar – John Denver Tribute
Jim fell in love with guitar 38 years ago, and rarely a day goes by without him picking it up and strumming a song or two. From the very beginning John Denver was his favorite singer/songwriter and Jim always dreamed of playing Denver’s songs in front of an audience. Thanks to a dear friend who knew the Gail Phaneuf – the Artistic Director at Deertrees Theatre, one thing led to another and his lifetime dream of performing John Denver songs materialized (Far Out!). Jim will play roughly 20 of Denver’s songs, but not without some assistance of friends and family to join in a celebration of one of America’s greatest singers/songwriters.
