An Evening at Dave’s Sauna tells the tale of just one evening back in 1980 at the legendary/infamous Dave’s Sauna in South Paris, Maine. Where hippies, rednecks, bikers, townies, swingers, and all kinds of folks would come for a sauna (and maybe more!)

Watch and listen as the legendary/infamous “Sauna” Dave shares his own philosophies on life, chats up the ladies and takes care of “commerce”.
Meet Weird Rob, Bearded Hippie, Off-Duty Waitress, 9-5 Guy, Neighbor Not Happy, Local Town Cop, Trailer Park Woman, MassHole, Dave’s best friend Saul, his wife Nancy, her best friend Josephine, the seductive Sauna Sirens and many other colorful characters.
Come enjoy and remember how it was to “live life right”.
*The Oxford County landmark opened in Paris ME, 1976 as Dave’s Sauna, after Dave Graiver, who ran it until he passed away in 2008. His obit made note of “divorces, audits, and visits from the FBI” and described how his “freewheeling spirit attracted everyone from yahoos to yuppies.” So naturally, his sauna lodge became a local hub for hanging out, swapping stories, and BYO drinking.*
